ORB has been providing real estate, planning and construction advice to clients since 2002. Early in their careers, the founders of ORB recognized that traditional planning, development and construction delivery methods continually “passed the torch” from group to group based on timing. There wasn’t always someone there for the Owner throughout the entirety of the process ensuring major project visioning, goals, and plans stay intact and executed throughout the journey with the Owner’s best interest in mind.

Lifelong friends and neighbors, Tom Wacholz & Kim Barse, set out to be that difference by combining their leadership skills, experience, and strategic resourcing to provide advice, guidance, and complete much of the heavy lifting on behalf of their clients. They take the time with their clients to get a deep understanding of clients' opportunities and needs. From there, they simply put together work plan(s) and execute them with a series of precise steps, processes, and check-ins.

ORB’s work continues to grow, diversify, and expand. Working now into the 2nd generation of our organization, the future is bright. We serve many industry types, have many repeat clients, and get recommendations from past clients for future clients. We see the world shifting; how people interact within and outside of their cultures, how people gather, how we celebrate, how we do business, and how we lead as businesses and humans has never been more evident across all industries.
